Elizabeth is going into 9th grade at Tavares High School in Tavares, Florida. She used to dislike science when it was solely reading out of a textbook, but her 4th grade teacher assigned scientific experiments that got her thinking. For Elizabeth, SciGirls has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; she loves being with other girls who love science. Elizabeth would like to become a marine biologist.
