Amro lives in Tallahassee but he was born in Syria. He is a practicing Muslim and tries to fit in five prayers a day, even if he is with friends. He has gone back to Syria -- attending school there from time to time before it became too dangerous. He loves Damascus, and hopes one day he'll be able to return.
