Johnny Davis attends Second Chance at the Ghazvini Learning Center. He struggled with school, believing he was too smart for it. At the same time, his father had deserted him and he felt alone. Through 50 LARGE he realized people do care about him and it helped to connect him to his dreams and future.

She wasn't zoned for Lincoln but cheerleading got her there.  SciGirls has been a really fun experience and not what she first thought.  It's been hands on and no bookwork.

She wondered how people would be here.  At first they were very nice but then the students at Cobb weren't so nice to her.  She thinks perhaps because of her accent and that she is different.  Her mom told her about SciGirls and she has really liked it. Stefan is a senior at Jefferson Co Middle/HS.  He loves Monticello - he has developed a bond with everyone.  It's home.  The school is a bit empty but the teachers really know you since it is so small.  There are only 41 seniors.  Many have moved to Tallahassee schools. His family has pushed him and encouraged him to do well.
